Youth 5-8 can participate in most projects as well as the monthly clover project meeting which is held the 1st Thursday at 6:30PM

Paint Bee boxes, see inside hives, touch the bees.  Learn about Important Tools
Make ornaments like rolled candles
Learn about the different Jobs of Bees
Our project will be with the Gilroy Beekeepers Association.  All project members must also be members of the GBA and parents must attend meetings with their member.

Learn about Foods and Nutrition, safety in cooking and get to make and eat tasty food with your friends.  Plan a meal and share a treat at Favorite Foods Day

Learn about growing plants from seed, rizome, and cutting

Grow veggies from seed

Learn about the 52 different breeds of rabbits, how to handle and care for them.  Hands on bunny time!

Learn about Cavies and what they need to be happy

  Learn about climate change and clean energy; engage in science projects & programming related to clean energy; and advocate for community awareness for climate actions 

Gain Confidence in public speaking and presentation skills

Plan your meals so you eat from all five food groups. Members will plan a complete balanced meal and direct the team in making their meal.

Learn food preservation techniques such as canning, freezing, drying and pickling. 

Learn by doing!
